Wild Mayo Rose Florist — Case Study
Overview
Wild Mayo Rose is a local florist based in County Mayo, offering seasonal bouquets and arrangements for delivery within the surrounding area.
The goal was to create a website that could introduce the brand, reflect its character, and allow customers to easily browse and order flowers online.
The Starting Point
At the beginning, the business had no existing brand or website.
Everything needed to be defined — from the visual identity through to how customers would browse products, place orders, and arrange delivery.
The challenge was to create something that felt personal and distinctive, while still being simple and easy to use.
My Approach
I started by developing the brand identity.
Working closely with the client, I created a logo, colour palette, and typography that reflected the feel they wanted — inspired by wildflowers, the countryside, and a softer, more natural style.
From there, I designed the site around a small, curated product range, keeping the layout clean and focused so each product could be presented clearly.
The overall structure was kept simple and intuitive, making it easy for customers to browse options, choose sizes, and place an order without confusion.
Alongside the design, I set up the full ordering process — allowing customers to select products, enter delivery details, include messages, and complete payment in a straightforward way.
The Outcome
The result is a warm, characterful online shop that reflects the brand and feels inviting to use.
Customers can easily browse the available arrangements, place orders, and arrange delivery, while the business owner has a simple system for managing orders and staying up to date.
What this means for the business
Wild Mayo Rose now has a clear and professional online presence, giving the business a strong foundation to grow — both online and through its new physical shop.
